A bit about Nic

Welcome my loves!

I have been teaching Vinyasa Yoga since 2017, and practicing yoga for many years prior.

I am also callisthenics trained and, being hypermobile, I teach people how to build safe balanced yoga practices.

Recovering from burn out and injury as I started to learn how to teach also informed my practice!

Beyond regular classes and private sessions, I have taught large events and community classes with brands such as lululemon and Sweaty Betty. I teach for all abilities.

About Yoga…

Union - Alignment

The word ‘Yoga’ translates from Sanskrit to mean ‘to harness’, ‘join together’… so yoga practice is all about bringing all parts of ourselves into alignment - head, heart, body, soul. As we recruit all aspects of self to work in harmony, we embody our innate power.

From a physical perspective we ensure breath, muscle, connective tissue, bone, nervous system, organs etc all work together.

Alignment is also about balancing strength in range - there’s no point developing flexibility if you can’t control it… opening and activating is key.

Deep Self Connection

It really is all about you - your body and needs differ from the next person and yoga is all about knowing what’s right for your body/mind.

Being able to listen to and meet your own needs is key to self fulfilment and learning how to do this through yoga practice not only makes your practice both enjoyable and beneficial, but is immensely empowering. You start moving, breathing and living in harmony with yourself.

This is what yoga is really all about… deep self connection… and understanding more deeply what and who you are - life force!
